Come aboard your classic Punt at either the historic Antigua Boat Sheds landing or the City Centre departure point at the Worcester Street bridge. Your Edwardian Punter will guide you quietly past trailing willows, woodlands and leafy banks as you absorb the beauty of Hagley Park or the changing face of the new city of Christchurch. Punting on the beautiful Avon River is an iconic Christchurch attraction not to be missed.
Each Punting tour includes an informative commentary, and you are returned to your point of departure. A Punt ride takes 30 minutes.

Additional Information

The Punt - Typically, a punt is approximately 21 feet (6 metres) long and 3 feet (1 metre) wide. It should be propelled by means of a pole - about 16 foot (5 metres) long - which is also used to steer the punt.
